Each day will be led by Coach Gunn 9am-4pm with FREE extended hours 7:45am-5pm at £24 per child per day.

Half day options will be 9am-12:30pm with drop off from 7:45am plus 12:30pm-4pm with extended free play up to 5pm at £15 per child.

Separation anxiety can make even short goodbyes feel enormous to a child.

And while our instinct may be to reassure quickly — “you’re fine”, “there’s nothing to worry about” — those words can unintentionally dismiss what their nervous system is telling them.

Instead, we can acknowledge the feeling, keep our reassurance calm and confident, and make what happens next as predictable as possible.

The aim isn’t to remove every difficult feeling. It’s to help a child learn, gradually, that separation can feel hard and still be safe.

Sometimes changing the words we use can change the whole experience.

School pickup can be the moment everything a child has been holding together all day begins to spill out.

They may be tired, hungry, overloaded, quiet, irritable or suddenly emotional — and firing questions at them the moment they come through the gate can add even more demand.

Sometimes the most helpful welcome is simple: warmth, food, low pressure and time to decompress.

Connection first. Questions later.

And remember, not every child will want to talk about their day straight away. Giving them space does not mean we are ignoring them — it can be exactly what helps them regulate enough to reconnect.
