Great ride out for some of the 10am Saturday gang. Headed west and north coming back past Langden Brook and up the trough for a bacon butty at Puddle Ducks before working our way home. Fantastic not to get drenched or bashed by the wind.

Another Sunday another sportive. This week several of us joined the very local Ribble Valley Ride taking on the 75mile, 50mile and 25mile routes. The weather was a bit different from last week. Fantastic event exceptionally well organised and with top quality feed stations. Definitely recommend it for next year!

Pictures of todays 85 mile Le Petit Depart sportive run by Skipton Cycling Club Le Petit Depart - Skipton. I’ve nicked a couple of pics from their page, the rest supplied by various Green Jersey members. The ride was fantastic, really well run with good feed stations and brilliant marshals and a great bunch of fellow riders. The route was beautiful but definitely challenging (why do we do take ourselves up High Hall Hill out of settle it always hurts a lot?). None of us were in the pantomime horse on the tandem btw- big respect to those animals !

We are a friendly cycling club based in Clitheroe, Lancashire. We start our rides out of Bowland Bikes CIC in Clitheroe so we can have a brew and pick up any necessaries before we set off. We have weekly Saturday road rides for a range of fitness levels and evening road rides in the summer. There are occasionally fast paced gravel rides if that’s your thing.
