Today the tragic loss of Nimsdai Purja has been confirmed. The victim of an avalanche on Broad Peak Pakistan.
Nims was an inspiration for ‘The Search’.
I like to think we helped people get out into the hills during one of the toughest times (Covid19) many generations have ever known. Back at home I watched the footage, read the interviews and followed the vlogs and it helped me stay motivated.

The Search IS over....
I am drawing a close to hillwalking based bookings/events as I focus on other areas of coaching for the forseeable future.
This project was created to help people find whatever they were searching for, adventure, fitness, overcoming fears, wellbeing or just getting out for a chat. I can say with confidence that all of those circumstances were catered for at some point. During the pandemic I saw first hand how valuable it was for people to get out into the hills, especially with Govt guidance advising 1 hour outside a day!
A heartfelt thankyou to everyone who supported me (to many to mention) it was the best experience and also helped me develop and grow.
I will still try and help people get out time allowing, so drop me a message on my personal account and we will figure something out.
