We are so excited to finally be able to announce Harris Health and Fitness opens this Sunday!! It has certainly been a challenging 6 months to finally reach this point, but with the help of our amazing family, friends and members we have made it. I genuinely cannot thank everyone enough for the support me and Tara have received throughout this period. It has kept us going to ensure we got the expansion over the line, without you all it wouldn't have been possible.

To celebrate opening, we are holding an open event on Sunday from 9AM - 2PM. Please join us to look around the new facilities! We will be giving away discount vouchers for all beauty offerings as well as entering everyone who comes through the door into a competition to win all of the following;

Unfortunately, is leaving us πŸ˜” Emily is venturing off to Australia, meaning we have a hole to fill!

We are looking for a level 3 Personal Trainer (or working towards) to join our team and be part of the fastest growing fitness facility in the area. You will also have the option of Personal Training your own clients within Harris Fitness and we will provide the support and guidance to grow your client base.

The basic criteria …

βœ… Must have a MINIMUM of level 2 fitness instructor qualification, ideally level 3 Personal Training.

βœ… Have experience running fitness classes, ideally including SPIN!

βœ… Be prepared shifts may include early starts (6AM) and/or late finishes (9PM) and weekends.

βœ… Have excellent personal skills… we are welcoming, friendly and supportive! This is a massive part of what we offer.

Performance over scales !!

Why bother trying to get stronger, I want to lose weight ??

A lot of people will see this and think what’s the point.

But if you could see the journey it would be a different story.

Everyone starts out as a beginner when it comes to lifting.

Once established I like to log clients 1RM on certain lifts they enjoy but what are going to help change there body composition.

So once I find clients 1RM on say hipthrust- squat- deadlift- I can then determine what weight they lift for isolation exercises that accompany the main lifts which all make a huge difference for strength and shape.

Even now you might be thinking that sounds complicated, but it’s not for you to worry about, I do all the working out for you πŸ’ͺ.

it’s for you to see as a target to aim for instead of worrying about the weight on the scales 😁

By focusing on performance, then you will see results.

I can promise you that !!
