Sometimes the most productive thing we can do is slow down.

My Thursday morning Slow Flow class is designed for complete beginners, those returning to yoga, and anyone looking for a thoughtful, well-rounded practice. Together we'll explore mindful movement, strength, mobility, breakwork, meditation and the deeper principles of yoga in a way thats feels accessible, supportive and relvant to everyday life.

No pressure. No expectation. Just space to breathe, move and reconnect.

Thursdays 10.30-11.30am
Suitable for beginners

Yoga isn't about being flexible. Its about building a relationship with your body, one breath, one movement, one practice at a time.

If you've been thinking about starting yoga or joining a class, this is your invitation. We'd love to welcome you into our community.

Have you ever wondered what the difference is between Yin and Restorative Yoga?

They're oftern grouped together, but they offer very different experiences.

Yin Yoga
Long passive holds
Targets fascia, joints and connective tissue
A gentle sesnsation of stretch
Builds patience, resilience and mobility

Restorative Yoga
Fully supported with bolsters, blankets and blocks
Designed to encourage complete relaxation
Helps calm the nervous system
Invites the body into deep rest and recovery

My weekly class blends the best of both

Between the longer Yin holds, we weave in slow, fluid movements to gently release tension before settling into stillness again. Every pose is fully supported with props, allowing you to soften without effort.

Soft music, a calm space, and permission to simple be.

Sometimes the most powerful practice isn't about doing more, it's about allowing yourself to do less.

Yin Yoga has become such an inportant part of my own practice.

It's one of those practices that has taught me that sometimes the biggest shift happens when we slow down.

Yin isn't about pushing yourself deeper into a stretch or trying to achieve the 'perfect pose'. Instead, it's an invitation to become curious. To notice sensation, soften around it, and breathe.

We spend a little longer in each posture, giving the body time to settle and the mind time to become a little quieter.

Over time, this gentle, sustained practice helps to keep our fascia, joints and ligaments healthy, creating space where we oftern feel tight or restricted.

It's a wonderful compliment to more active moment, supporting recovery, ease of movement and, ultimately, longevity.

We live in a world that keeps us moving, thinking and doing. Yin offers something different. It gives us permission to pause. To sit with ourselves for a while. To notice our breath, our thoughts and our patterns, witbout needing to change anything.

Interested?

Join my Restorative Yin class starting this September. We'll be exploring these qualities through a Yin-focused practice, witb slow fulid moment woven between the longer holds. We'll also enjoy the deeply nourishing support of Restorative Yoga , using bolsters, blanketsand blocks to help the body completely let go and encourage deep rest.

Thursdays 7-8PM at Clevedon Community Centre.

Hi I'm Laura!

If you are new here...welcome!

I run yoga classes in Clevedon and have done for around 11 years. I have learn so much in my time from my students and hands on teaching.

I qualified in 2015 with my 200hour RYT and continued my studies in children's Yoga, Yin and Creative Vinyasa. In 2019 went back and completed my 300 hours advanced teaching training with was amazing.

I am forever a student and forever humble in this vast and journey of yoga.

My style of teaching is creative and fluid with an emphasis on empowering students to find connection to their breath, bodies and mind.

Students quite often come for physical aspects of yoga and to feel better, less stiff and achy...but stay for what they discover on deeper level and the deeper aspects of yoga.

If you are interested in practicing with me and a warm and friendly community you would be very welcome.

With warmth & gratitude
Laura xx

Join me every Friday evening 7.30PM

Slow Creative Flow to let go of the week, centre ourselves and find connection.

Through breath work and pranayama, we can steady ourselves, and move with intention and awareness of mind and body for a whole body experience.

We use creative movement and asana practice to feel deeper into the body, and allow softening, release and connection to take place. Over time developing strength, flexibility and stability with a consistent practice.

Beginner's welcome, just bring a mat!
