When Palm got the green light to mould Dagger kayaks in the UK, Andy and Bob had two challenges: no money and no moulding experience.

So they did what paddlers do – committed fully.

A bank loan that made everyone sweat … and the arrival of Franco (our resident roto-wizard) from overseas, thanks to a very helpful local MP.

Fun fact: one of the very first boats we made was a custom Lloyds Bank kayak for the bank manager. Safe to say … the repayments went smoothly.
