After a long hiatus, I have returned πŸ™‚ I'm potentially looking to move toward a personal training based approach as opposed to group training sessions/bootcamps, and I'm looking to gauge interest, if any. I have access to various bits of kit - a TRX system, battle ropes, slam balls etc πŸ™‚ let me know in the comments or messages if you think this would be of interest to you πŸ‘Š

Hello guys and gals! I know it's been a looong time, and I apologise for my absence, but I'm still here! Just waiting on the weather to get a little warmer and for it to stay a little lighter for longer and we'll be back out in the trenches in no time! ✊

So last night, this is what my Clevedon Wednesday warriors got upto!

The guys and gals were split into pairs of A's and B's. Upon the the word go, the A's were sent up the hill for 2 sprints, whilst the B's executed stationary exercises. Upon completion of the A's sprints, the roles were reversed, so the A's were doing the stationary exercises, whilst the B's were sent up the hill for their 2 sprints. So in essence, each person completed 4 sprints, and 2 rounds of stationary exercises per round. We completed this twice before we had our break.

We got through 5 rounds, and each round's stationary exercises were as follows:

1. Squats
2. Leg raises
3. Squat thrusts
4. Press ups
5. Walkouts

To finish up, we bear crawled up the hill twice 🐾

To summarise, each person nailed 20 hill sprints, and 10 rounds of exercising on the spot.

The toughest battles FORGE the toughest warriors! ✊

For those who are training tonight and haven't seen the group message, we will be meeting at Clevedon golf course, BS21 7DY.

There is a big inclined section next to the main road, we'll be training there. There is a wooden gate opening situated just at the entrance to the golf course, I'll be waiting for everyone there 😁

So this past Monday in Nailsea, here's what went down!

50 high knees
10 burpees
45 jumping jacks
10 burpees
Walking lunges to cones & run back
Rest

40 mountain climbers
10 burpees
35 squats
10 burpees
Run to cones & run back
Rest

30 glute bridges
10 burpees
25 tuck jumps
10 burpees
Walking walkouts to cones & run back
Rest

20 leg raises
10 burpees
15 alternating lunges
10 burpees
Run to cones & run back
Rest

10 press ups
10 burpees
5 walkouts
10 burpees
Bear crawl to cones & run back
Rest

So once we'd gotten all the way down to the bottom, we worked all the way back up to the top! That works out to be 730 reps, 200 of which were burpees! Fancy getting in on the action?! Come and test that mettle! πŸ’₯πŸ’ͺ
