This week Trin faced top of the table, undefeated this season Grimsby Netball Club (GNC) Warriors ⚔️🏐

This was a tough match for everyone on court with them all needing to give 110% effort to match the skill and unity of The Warriors. The defence put up an amazing performance. Working well together and able to get turnovers. 👊

There were some brilliant plays on court and a lot of lessons learnt from this match, even with a tough scoreline of 8-62. POTM went to Aimee in GK for an outstanding performance. 🫶👏

A slightly delayed (better late than never) ❤️🖤 MATCH REPORT ❤️🖤

Last week’s fixture saw Trin face the first of two Grimsby Netball Club (GNC) teams in our division… GNC Tornadoes 🌪️ 🏐

A brilliant game, the GNC girls had a great attitude which was lovely to be on court alongside and there was some really competitive play all the way through! 👏🏻 Well played!

In the end, Trin took the lead with a final score of 23-10. Sarah secured another POTM, awarded by GNC for her fabulous defending securing Trin multiple turn-overs! 🏆

This week saw Trin face the ladies from FJC Redline. The competition was fierce yet friendly. Redline took an early lead and although they played well, Trin just couldn't catch them back up, with a final score of 36-13👏🏻

🏆 This week's POTM as chosen by the opposition, went to Sarah for her outstanding performance in GD. She was able to intercept many balls at the final third to ensure Trin got the turnover 💪🏻 Well played Sarah! 🏆

Last night Trin played Signal Box Inn in their third fixture of the winter season. The game was a brilliant one, with a great energy on court from both sides 👏🏻

🏆 This week’s player of the match was LISA, as chosen by Signal Box. Lisa put in a cracking performance as Trin’s Centre, helped lead the girls to a victory of 33-24! Well done! 🏆

This week Trin faced new team PP & CC Louth in their Tuesday night fixture. Although Trin didn’t come away with a win this week, it was a fantastic match with a very friendly team!

🏆 This week’s POTM 🏆as selected by Louth was Aimee, who had a bit of a shift around the court, starting in GD and then into WA for the second half 👏🏻

What a start to the Grimsby & District Senior Netball League Winter Season 2024!🏐❄️

Trinity faced MC Engineering for their first match of the season in Division 3 and it was a close game throughout! 🫣 There was a battle between the quarters to take the lead, however when the final whistle blew both teams were tied on a total 33 goals each!🥵😳

Despite an injury mid game, Albany (GS) soldiered on scoring some beautiful goals for Trin. Her skills were obviously noticed on both sides of the court, with Albany being chosen by MC as their player of the match too! 👏🏻 Well done Albs!

We might be taking a break from the netball league.. But we’re still together smashing 10K’s! Well done today girls! ❤...

WE’VE MADE IT TO THE KNOCKOUTS 🥊

After our fixtures on Monday night, ending in a 31-25 loss and a 25-27 WIN, we are now through to the knockout stage of the tournament… Wish us luck! ❤️🖤

Last night Trin set about their first fixtures in the Handicap Tournament, finishing the night soaked and freezing… but with 1 win and 1 loss!

🏐 Match 1 saw Trin play the Division 2 team, Phoenix Netball. Trin began on the advantage but couldn’t quite keep hold, with the final score being 28-30 to Pheonix.

🏐 Match 2 faced Willy’s Pub and Brewery, a recently relegated Division 1 team, now entering Division 2. Again Trin started on the advantage and managed to keep on top, with a final score of 24-27 in favour of Trin! 👏🏻

Tonight see’s the start of the Handicap Tournament for the Grimsby & District Senior Netball League 🏐 (The wind obviously got the memo 💨😅)…

Our Trin ladies will be starting the tournament on an advantage of 24 goals!

Tonight Cleethorpes Trinity have two fixtures:
🏐 7:25pm K/O against Phoenix Netball (Division 2)
🏐 8:40pm K/O against Willy’s Pub and Brewery (Division 1)
