Kick-off is 7:30PM, entry is free, and the bar will be open throughout.

We are looking for a pre season 2XV fixture for either the 10th or 12th September. Ideally at home, but could travel.

Our 2XV will play in Counties 4 Yorkshire (level 10) next season.

⚪️🔴 NEW SIGNING | ANDREW ESMOND ⚪️🔴

We’re delighted to announce the signing of Andrew “Ezzy” Esmond, who joins Cleckheaton RUFC from Brighouse Rangers Rugby League! 🏉💪

Andrew arrives with plenty of experience and a proven track record in the local rugby league scene. A powerful and committed centre, Ezzy was a standout performer for Brighouse Rangers, including being named their Man of the Match in the 2025 BARLA National Cup Final. 👏

His physicality, defensive strength and attacking threat will add another exciting dimension to our squad as he makes the switch from league to union.

We’re looking forward to seeing what Ezzy can bring to the red and white as we head into the new season. ⚪️🔴

Cleckheaton face Harrogate Pythons RUFC in a pre‑season clash.

Bar open from 6.30PM, KO at 7.30PM, and post‑match chilli waiting in the clubhouse.

Bring the noise and back the boys. 🔴⚪🔴🐑

With the season delayed, we’re extending our pre‑season fixtures — three more Thursday nights at home to ramp it up and then Manchester away on the 19th.

We’re aiming for a 7:30 KO for each of the home games.

We’re delighted to welcome Karl Frankland to Cleckheaton RUFC, joining us from Brighouse Rangers Rugby League! 🏉

Karl makes the switch from league to union and brings with him a wealth of rugby league experience, along with the physicality, toughness and competitive edge that comes with it. 💪

We’re excited to see how Karl adapts to the 15-a-side game and are looking forward to seeing him make his mark in the red and white.
