🏁 FINAL GAME OF THE SEASON 🏁

And just like that, we’ve reached the FINAL COUNTDOWN of the season! 🎶

It’s been a long, hard fought campaign, and with both teams having nothing left to play for but pride, there’s still plenty to play for in our final outing. 💪

Before we bring the curtain down, we want to say a massive thank you to all of our sponsors for believing in us and supporting us throughout this exciting new era. Your backing means a huge amount to everyone at the club.

The season may be coming to an end, but this is NOT THE END… it’s just another chapter.

Like a coiled spring, sometimes you have to draw back before you can launch forward. 🚀

And we’re already looking forward to WHAT’S NEXT…

✈️ 1st XI
We travel to Altofts looking to TAKE IT TO THE LIMIT, finish the season on a high and give ourselves something to smile about on the final whistle.

🏡 2nd XI
We welcome relegated Heckmondwike & Carlinghow to The Lynx Precast Oval for the final home game of the campaign.

🎭 STARS IN THEIR EYES NIGHT 🎤

Once the cricket is done, it’s time to LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL! 🕺💃

We’ve got some fantastic acts lined up, so get your dancing shoes ready and come and SING, SING, SING as we celebrate another season together.

There’ll be plenty of DANCING IN THE DARK, some questionable vocal performances and hopefully a few moments that make us say THAT’S ENTERTAINMENT! 😂

The weather is looking promising, the sun might even make an appearance ☀️… and the ice cream man has already been on the phone asking if he can come along too! 🍦

So, what’s happening? 👇

🏏 First match gets underway at 10am

🍔 Club & vendors open from 12pm

Gomersal Cricket Club are staging a Charity T10 Cricket Tournament on Sunday in memory fo their former player Ryan Kitson who died earlier this year. The event is raising money for four charities so why not pop along to Oxford Road and give the event your support.

We’ve only gone and pulled off a HUGE signing for this Sunday’s charity tournament! 🏏

Joining us as a special guest umpire is none other than Emmerdale star Chris Chittell, better known to millions as the legendary Eric Pollard! 📺👏

When asked why he was getting involved, Chris said he wants to help out in any way he can for 4 fantastic causes. ❤️

However… there is one small problem.

We’ve also been informed that Chris is susceptible to bribes. 👀💷

So, captains of the four teams, you’ve been warned. Get those cheque books ready! 😂💰 We’ll be keeping a very close eye on the umpire’s decisions!

For one night only, the clubhouse is becoming our very own music hall as some very brave members of Gomersal CC step through the famous doors and become their chosen stars. 🌟
