This Friday 19th June from 6pm, we’re inviting women and girls of all abilities to come along and try softball cricket at Gomersal Cricket Club!

With the fantastic support of our friends at Birstall Belles Ladies Softball Cricket Team, we’re taking the first exciting steps towards creating a brilliant Gomersal CC Ladies Team 💙🏏

🏏 What a fantastic day at Gomersal CC as we hosted the Leeds East Division 2 Softball Tournament!

A huge congratulations to Leeds Super Kings, who were deserved winners on the day 👏🏆

Commiserations to Crossgates, who pushed them all the way and just missed out on taking the title.

Special mentions also go to Birstall Belles, Whitkirk, Barwick and Colton for making the day such a success and for playing the game in such great spirit.

Most importantly, today was about having fun, enjoying cricket, and celebrating the amazing women who continue to show that they absolutely can. 💜

Thank you to everyone who played, supported, umpired, scored and helped behind the scenes.

🏡 The 1st XI welcome Bowling Old Lane to Gomersal today. There are a few fresh faces in the side, all eager to make their mark, while one half of the Mitchell brothers makes his return and is proudly the face of the socials today

✈️ Meanwhile, the 2nd XI head to Townville, looking to build on a positive week with a renewed, upbeat attitude and plenty of confidence.
