‼️Attention - please read ‼️

We’ve had some feedback from local residents about double parking and cars being left inconsiderately in the surrounding residential areas. While parkrun may contribute to the busier-than-usual Saturday morning traffic, we’d like to believe our parkrunners are far more sensible than the reports we’ve been hearing, and there’s no evidence to suggest that the issues raised are being caused by members of our parkrun community. That said, we would still really appreciate everyone taking an extra moment to park safely and considerately.

If the car park is full, please avoid squeezing into unsuitable spaces or blocking driveways. There’s additional parking at the Hyndburn Bridge pub nearby, and a short walk or warm-up jog is always a bonus.
Thank you for helping us maintain a positive relationship with our neighbours and keeping the event welcoming for everyone.

😕 A grey and miserable Saturday morning if you didn't attend Hyndburn parkrun, but for the 133 participants and 26 wonderful ..... the weather didn't matter as every event is bright and beautiful! 😀🥳

🥇We had 4️⃣ people that were completing their 1st ever parkrun - a warm welcome and kudos for making it to; Antony Allen, Claire Pollard, Antin Leccy and Alex Braysford.

🌏 A huge 3️⃣1️⃣ people chose Hyndburn as their destination with folk from Mansfield, Macclesfield, York, Rossendale, Stockport and North Yorkshire. We hope you enjoyed our event and you're welcome back anytime 🥰
For tourist Matt Coath, it was his 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣th parkrun location - congratulations Matt - that's a great milestone 👏 👏

2️⃣ x other today. Congratulations to Megan Partington who smashed through 5️⃣0️⃣ parkruns and 2️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ not out for Erin Bolton who is also a regular volunteer with us 🦺

We also gave a huge welcome to PC Dave Render as he enters his final week with before retirement. Dave is still super fit as he was able to catch up with 1st place Jordan Dean Chippendale and issue him with a speeding a ticket 😉
