Now the brilliant age groups are done and dusted, all our Excellent England fencers will be getting an email soon, asking for expressions of interest in representing England at the home nations competition in Nottingham on the 27th June 2026
This is a fun team competition against our wonderful Welsh , Scots and Irish friends to be held at the Clifton sports hub at Nottingham Trent University followed by a Gala dinner at a hotel near the East Midlands airport !

Hi all
You should have had an email through about the Commonwealths in Nigeria this year, please consider carefully if you would like to go?
I need an expression of interest as soon as possible please, then I can look if it's viable and potentially select a squad.
Also we are hoping to communicate about the home nations competition in Nottingham soon

Thanks to everyone who came to our competition today.

We're back at NTU Clifton for our Regional Training and Coaching Conference next week.

Fencers, our regional training days are a great opportunity to build upon the skills you've learnt in your clubs and work with fencers from all over the region. The morning session (10:00 to 12:00) is aimed at fencers under 13 and the afternoon session (12:30 to 16:00) is for fencers aged 13 and over.

Coaches, we're holding our first coaching conference alongside the training day. This will be an opportunity to share and develop with each other.

British Fencing and England Fencing have signed a new long-term collaboration agreement that will guide the growth, development and governance of the sport of fencing in England.
