Claverdon Tennis Club is situated in the heart of Claverdon village and is a small and friendly club. We have thriving adult and junior sections. We run several club tournaments throughout the year and enter both Men's and Ladies' teams into competitive leagues and enter Junior Competitions. We also run Ladies, Men's and Mixed doubles championships throughout the summer season. If you are interest

Congrats to Andy on his victory over John in the 2025 Club Championship Men's Singles final. It was played under the lights during the week because Mr Ashley was already playing in two other finals on the Club Champs Finals Day! The only thing he didn't win this year was the Ladies Doubles!

The weather played ball long enough for both the morning's tennis and to crack the BBQ out for one final time.

The Claverdon tennis season has been pushing ahead strongly with fine weather and everyone enjoying the new court surfaces.
On Sunday 3rd August the VETS Tournament took place and in a hard fought final, new members Gary Scruby and Clare Langstone beat the tough opposition of Nigel and Joy Bacon 6-4. Chairman Richard Butler presented the cup to the delighted winners 😁
