Two brilliant sessions last night!

Juniors continued working on their breakfalls, followed by a refresher of O-Soto-toshi and O-Soto-gari, and putting this into uchi-komi. Following this, they moved into ne-waza, with a focus on kesa-gatame!

Lovely to welcome two new seniors last night! Working on De-ashi-barai and ko-uchi-gari, then putting these into combinations.

Wow! Two busy and fantastic lessons last night!

Juniors were working on their Ukemi (breakfalls), as well as O-Soto-Gari and O-Soto- toshi, finishing off with a game of bulldog

Seniors focused on uchi-komi, nage-komi and refreshing on some basics. Followed by some free time to work on their own stuff and a quick look at a Maki-komi variation!

Two fantastic classes last night!

Juniors worked on Osoto-otoshi and O-soto-gari, and did a bit of Uchi-komi. Ending the session with a few games of Bulldog!

Seniors worked on tai-otoshi, looking at the basics of the throw, movement and set up.

Juniors played some judo related games.

Seniors worked on Harai-tsurikomi-ashi ans had plenty of tachi-waza and ne-waza randori! Thankyou to Dan Cross for coaching and thankyou to Colchester Judo Club and Flying Dragons Judo Club for paying us a visit!

Two fantastic classes last night!

Juniors worked on both tachi-waza and ne-waza. Starting with Yoko-Shio-gatame and mune-gatame, followed by a refresher on O-goshi and an introduction to Uke-goshi!

Seniors worked on Ippon-seoi-nage, maki-komi and Tsuri-komi-goshi, followed by some footpatterns and randori!

We are open throughout Half-term! See you next week! 🥋
