A MESSAGE TO EVERY AYRSHIRE UNDER 25 PLAYER.
On behalf of the Directors of Ayrshire Bowling Association I would like to say a huge thank you to every Under 25 player who has played for Ayrshire this year in any capacity.
The skills. the Directors and supporters have seen this year, show that bowling in Ayrshire has a great future.
Our Top Ten team took us all the way to the Scottish finals. The result did not match the determination of all of the players to win.
Aimee Robertson showed great character to take the game all the way to 20 all. Our Pairs team of Jamie Noon and Robbie Dunlop had a hard game but again showed great spirit to stage a fight back against good opposition. Our Triples Cameron Cairnie, Jake Mcmillan and Joe Bell had two tremendous results and helped take the whole team to within a whisker of the Trophy. Our fours Emily Houston, Kieran Hamilton, Mason Carson and George Robertson again showed the fighting spirit we have come to expect from them to narrowly lose out.
We hope to see all of our Under 25 players next year and perhaps some new and rising talent coming through. Keep an eye out for the Trials next year.
