📚💜 London Silent Book Club — when one look says it all
Yesterday, we brought our third Silent Book Club pop-up to Coal Drops Yard, King’s Cross, outside Central Saint Martins.
King’s Cross was still King’s Cross — busy, lively, full of people, movement and noise.
But somehow, right in the middle of all that, we created a little pocket of calm.
Some people stopped to have a look. Some smiled or gave us a little nod. Some found a quiet corner, opened a book, and simply read with us.
No pressure to talk.
No pressure to meet anyone.
No pressure to socialise.
Just a book, 45 minutes of quiet, and a shared moment with people you may or may not know.
You could be sitting there completely by yourself.
And yet, somehow, you weren’t really alone.
Comfortable. Relaxed. Familiar.
Sometimes, one look is enough to understand.
📖 Where Quiet Becomes an Experience.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, volunteered, supported us, stopped by, or simply shared those 45 minutes of quiet with us. 💜
And a special thank you to , who photographed Vol. 1 & 2, and , who captured Vol. 3 for us yesterday. 📸
See you at the next one. 💜📚
