Welcome to Cirencester Park Polo Club, founded in the 19th century & one of the most historic and well known polo clubs in the world. Come to the Bathurst Estate, one of the finest examples of ‘Georgian garden landscape’ designed by Capability Brown, incorporating the longest avenue in the British Isles. Here at CPPC, we have played host to some of the most influential figures during the last 100 years, including George V&VI, Edward VIII, the Maharajas of Jaipur & Jodhpur, the Sultan of Brunei and the current British Royal Family. Cirencester Park Polo Club offers polo at all levels from regular 0-goal tournaments to high goal tournaments throughout the season. The club has a mixture of Domestic, Victrix Ludorum and also shared tournaments with Beaufort Polo Club. The club also offers chukkas and club matches that are available throughout the week and on weekends with the Cotswold Polo Academy. With one to one tuition or instructional chukkas there is polo for everyone! Taught by Olivia Lamphee who is a fully HPA accredited senior polo instructor. With over a decade of experience obtained Internationally, she brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise – and fun! – to each lesson. Her aim is to nurture your talent from the first swing of a mallet through to your first tournament. For more information, please go to our website:

Last Sunday, Peter Baldwin played his final match before his ‘polo-retirement’. Peter has been a huge supporter of both Beaufort Polo Club and Cirencester Park Polo Club through his illustrious playing career, usually with his Shibumi team.

Thank you, Peter, for everything you have done for the sport in Gloucestershire and beyond, and we look forward to seeing you on the sidelines as your family continues your polo legacy! 💫
