A great carp to have in the album for Dan Williams. This lovely zip fell to a mix of CreAmino and Atlantic Heat and Royal Marine crumb mixed with a bit of particle and a PineapHell wafter over the top. Well done Dan, IT-works.

Alfie Russell with a couple of old, dinosaur carp from his recent exploits. This little adventure was captured on film over on Alfie’s YT channel but true to form it didn’t take him long to catch his targets from this little, intimate pool. CreAmino, pellets, corn and his own squid ho**ers over the top completed the traps. Lovely carp mate, well done indeed. IT-works.

Podcast Drop 🎙️

This month, I join Mark back on the bank to see if he can rectify — and ultimately avenge — the lost carp from last month. And, spoiler alert, we get a live take on the podcast… and this time, he actually lands it!

Mark has also been playing around with a new rig, which he’s keeping very close to his chest, but let’s just say it appears to be working a treat.

Alongside the live action, we chat about a recent family fishing session that came good, carp growth, and the fascinating hierarchy of stock ponds — particularly when it comes to those top-tier fish that seem to outgrow everything else in the lake. We also get into baiting patterns, and why sometimes doing things differently can give you a real edge.

As always, the wonderful Scandinavian God returns with this month’s Panther’s Sermon, and last but certainly not least, we have a proper treat of a guest joining us all the way from the USA — Joel

Joel moved to America in search of a new life, only to discover that he’d landed in a country full of untapped, uncaught carp. Of course, catching them comes with its own unique set of challenges. Having bears for company, for starters, is a rather different proposition to fishing a gravelled swim at Linear!

Thanks for the support as always. So, sit back, turn it up and enjoy another episode of The Carp Fishing Podcast.

Paul Weller enjoyed a rather crazy trip to Holland recently. Sometimes the stars align and you come away with some mega memories and carp in the album. Paul had one of those trips and caught some Dutch gold while on his travels with his other half. Heat and Haulers doing it in style! Well done mate. IT - works.

Jack Fairfax and the lads ventured down to a venue they’re very familiar with over the last few years, the cracking and as usual the lads had a carve up and caught some lovely ones. Here’s a couple of Jacks commons, caught using our Atlantic Heat and Royal Marine soaked in c-stim and hot fish oil then dusted off with the c-stim powder. Great work mate!

Keith Fender with another two mega ones from his big pit demolition job from earlier in the year. These two were high on Keith’s list, the mirror being a fish called the Black One at 38lb 4oz then the common is one known as the immaculate at 35lb but this one is a 50 year old OG of the lake. Two amazing carp indeed Keith. Atlantic Heat helping Keith have a tremendous season on the big pit. Well done mate, IT-works.

Lewis Simmonds was absolutely buzzing to have the big un for his Cotswold syndicate recently.

“The Freak” at 44lbs 2 oz was his reward and a new Pb to boot. We never get tired of stories like these, that’s why was make a quality carp food, so anglers can make memories just like this.

Lewis Caught her on an Atlantic Heat hard ho**er topped with some plastic corn over bed of 15mm Atlantic Heat and Royal Marine. Well done mate. IT-works.

Bait that always produces the best fish. One of a 3 fish hit.

The iPhone Carpers took a job 150 miles away from home that required to be away 2 nights a week to be in the office. Instead of sitting in the hotel, he found a lake to fish in between work demands.

Having fished the venue religiously 2 nights every week for the past 2 years on work overnights through all the late nights, early starts, brutal winters and having to wind in at prime bite times, things all came good.

This is the lake’s biggest resident at a top weight of 38lb 8oz breaking his UK pb to boot!

The fish fell to a snowman made up of an 18mm hard hook bait and a match the hatch 15mm CreAmino pop up fished over 18mm CreAmino shelf life soaked heavily in the matching bait sock and glazed off with the sweet cream oil.

Great work mate, efforts and rewards. Job done

It’s been a while since me and Mark Bryant ‘s dairies have aligned to enable us to get on the road for another adventure. It’s well overdue, we have some trips planned in the diary for the back end of the year. With that in mind, hopefully his stiff, stinky blue cardigan will work it’s magic, it rarely fails, in fact I’m on the look out for a wizards cardi with carp catching powers myself!
