You don't need another YouTube video. You need to go train.
I see it all the time. Guys who know every technique name, can break down any fight on TV, have watched hundreds of hours of tutorials — and still can't throw a proper kick under pressure.
Because watching isn't training. Understanding isn't doing. And knowing what a switch kick looks like doesn't mean your body can throw one when someone's walking you down.
I've met fighters who barely watch any content. They just show up, drill, spar, and repeat. And they'd destroy most of the people reading this. Not because they're more talented. Because they spent the time you spent watching — actually doing.
Here's what nobody wants to hear. You're not preparing. You're procrastinating. Studying technique feels productive because your brain is engaged. But your body isn't learning anything from your sofa.
The best fighters I've trained with don't have more knowledge than everyone else. They just have more reps. They've thrown ten thousand teeps while you've watched ten thousand videos about teeps. And reps win. Every single time.
I'm not saying don't study. I study fights constantly. But I study to support my training, not to replace it. There's a massive difference. Film study after a hard session makes you sharper. Film study instead of a hard session makes you a commentator.
If you've been spending more time consuming Muay Thai content than actually doing Muay Thai — close this app. Go to the gym. Drill one thing until it's automatic. Then come back.
Your body needs the reps more than your brain needs the information.
P.S. When you are ready to study, make it count. I've got 300+ tutorials inside my training platform — built to support your training, not replace it. Each one tells you exactly what to drill and how. 7 days free, link in the comments.
