🟢 Junior Results 🟢
U13’s
U13s hosted a strong Dumbleton team but showing great character and energy throughout the match.
Anvik Thati was man of the match with bowling figures of 3 overs 4-18
And Charlie Dowling showed excellent form with the Bat scoring 14 from 14 balls in our opening 4 overs.
Unfortunately Dumbleton were the victors on the day but the team are happy to back competing and take some solid positives into the next fixture.
U11's
The u11s played their second game of the season against local "rivals" Witcombe. For most, it was also their first match with a hard ball! They all bowled excellently, with a special mention for Finn, who took 2 wickets in his final over, bowling 2 of his school mates! There was a bit of nervousness when it came to batting, and "padding up" for the first time. But everyone again showed great courage and determination against a good bowling attack. Shout out to William, who was hit by a full toss from a pretty quick bowler. It would have been easy to sit out the rest of the game but he was determined to keep going. We might have lost by a few runs, but it's a big milestone for all!
