There are lots of sessions available (for children and adults)and you do not have to sign up to all to attend.

The session will be an opportunity to meet our Coach David and practice some racket skills. It will be designed as fun session that is open to all (beginners and improvers). Parents are welcome to join in free of charge. If you do not have a racket we can supply both Junior and Adult rackets.

The North Devon Tennis League has begun this week. Chulmleigh Tennis is incredibly well represented for a small club. We have mens teams taking part in Division 2 and 4, the veterans and the Men’s Cup as well as ladies teams in Division 2 and 3. The ladies have already kicked off the season. They played some great tennis this week and thoroughly enjoyed their matches. Both teams already have points on the board. Our Ladies A team drew at home against Rock Park B’s and our Ladies B team won away versus Braunton B’s. Good luck to the men who have matches scheduled for later on in the week.

Many thanks to Jo Moser our league representative and our captains Oli Hunt, Andrew Harker, Mark Joslin, Anthony Bennett, Ian Reeve, Kim Paine and Karen Chennell. We couldn’t enjoy taking part without the time and effort you spend organising the teams and matches ❤️🎾

Saturday was a fantastic day for some tennis in the sun. Many thanks to David our coach for delivering another great session and to all of those who came along and enjoyed learning some new tennis skills.

There will be more coaching sessions for adults and children this Saturday May 2nd and also May 9th. The coaching is open to members and non members and will be different each week so either come along to them all or just dip in for one or two. Please check the link below for details and to book.

A wonderful tribute to David Simms, our new Tennis Coach - from Liverpool to Devon!

This man has done so much for Liverpool tennis over the past 25 years bringing people from all communities and backgrounds together through our beautiful sport of tennis. It's sad to see him go but so lovely to see the impact he's had on the next generation of players who all got to say their goodbyes to him today at today's morning session at Mossley Hill. 🙏🎾

Best of luck in Devon Dave. I'll be sure to visit and we will do our best to continue your legacy at The Hill 💪👊🎾

We are very excited to welcome David our new coach to Chulmleigh Club. David is a LTA Level 4 senior coach with over 40 years of experience with all ages and abilities.

We will be starting with some taster sessions on Saturday mornings before moving onto regular coaching on a Wednesday after school for most of the juniors/youth and Rusty Rackets at 6pm for adults (beginners and improvers). Some sessions for parents and younger children will also likely continue longer term on Saturdays.

The taster sessions begin on Saturday 18th April and are listed below:

1st Taster Day - Saturday 18th April
Group 1. 10.00-11.00am - Ages 9-12
Group 2. 11.00-12.00pm - Ages 13-16
Group 3. 12.15-01.15pm - Adults Rusty Rackets.

2nd Taster Day – Saturday 25th April

RACKENFORD tennis tournament is now accepting entries. It’s a fun tournament played over the summer on home courts around the Rackenford Chulmleigh South Molton area. There’s usually a good number of entries from Chulmleigh. So why not go for it. If you need a partner pop a note on here or our WhatsApp groups.
