Proud to have officially passed my 3rd Dan in ITF Taekwon-Do with the International Taekwon-Do Federation.

As an instructor, moments like this remind me why I’m so passionate about teaching the next generation. Helping children and teenagers build confidence, respect, resilience and strong character through martial arts is something I’m incredibly proud of.

The journey continues — both as a student and as a teacher. 🥋👊

This weekend at the ITF English Championships in Coventry, I watched my students step onto the mats with courage, focus and heart.

The results were incredible:
🥇 4 English Champions
🥈 4 Silver Medals
🥉 4 Bronze Medals

But what makes me proud isn’t just the medals.
It’s the growth.
The confidence.
The resilience.
The respect they show every single week in training.
Every one of these students started as a beginner.
Every one of them chose to be brave enough to compete.
Watching them grow into athletes capable of performing at national level is exactly why I love what I do.

I’ve been teaching ITF Taekwondo for 13 years and love helping children and teens build confidence, discipline, and respect through martial arts.

At Total TKD, we don’t just train to compete (though our students have recently become English Champions 🏆) — we train to grow strong in mind, body, and spirit.

What a weekend for my team at the ITF English Championships in Coventry! 🥋🔥

My students stepped onto the mats with determination, courage and incredible team spirit — and they absolutely delivered.

🏆 **4 NEW ENGLISH CHAMPIONS**
🥈 **4 SILVER MEDALS**
🥉 **4 BRONZE MEDALS**

That’s **12 medals coming back to the club!**

An incredible achievement and a true reflection of the hard work these students put in week after week.

Competing at this level takes bravery, discipline and heart, and every single student who represented the club made us proud. Win or lose, stepping onto the mat at a national championship is a huge achievement in itself.

A massive well done to the whole team — your dedication is inspiring and this is only the beginning. The future is looking very strong! 💪🥋

Thank you to all the parents and supporters who travelled to cheer the team on — your support means everything.

An amazing end of year competition was had by all with such great feedback as always! Well done to all those who competed, medal or no medal!

Also a huge congratulations to my ten students of the year, Mai, Logan and Leon on becoming the overall competition winners, Khyati on receiving her 10 year training trophy and Rex who I awarded a special recognition trophy to for all his great help this year! 🏆

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and looking forward to another great year with our takeowndo family! 🥋

My heart is so full after this weekend at the British Championships. Watching my students give everything they had — the nerves, the courage, the determination, and the incredible support they showed one another — reminded me exactly why I love what I do. Every single one of them stepped onto those mats with bravery and spirit, and I couldn’t be prouder. And to our two amazing students who are now officially British Champions… words can’t express how much your achievement means. Your dedication, sacrifice, and belief in yourselves have truly shone through. Whether they came home with medals or with lessons for the journey ahead, each of my students made me unbelievably proud. 🏆❤️🥋
