It’s easy to get stuck in a bit of a rut with training. If you feel like you’re just going through the motions at the minute, lifting the same weights, or staring at a wall on a treadmill just to tick a box, it might be time to change it up.

Our kickboxing sessions are completely different to your standard commercial gym classes. Because of Danny's martial arts background, we don't just have you mindlessly smashing pads until you pass out. There is an actual structure to it. We coach you on proper movement, defense, and the actual technique behind every strike, so you’re learning a genuine skill while getting fit.

The best bit about it is the atmosphere in the studio. Walking into a new space can be a bit daunting, but there are absolutely no cliquey groups or big egos here. Everyone trains hard, but we always have a proper laugh while doing it.

First the gym got an upgrade and now the digital side has caught up.

We have completely transformed it from the ground up so it is a clean and simple space where you can see what we do, meet the team, and book your sessions without any headache.

Started in 2014 with under-5s grassroots football...

I was absolutely addicted to making sessions fun, engaging, and way less “ruley.”

If you’ve ever seen kids’ football, you know it’s absolute bedlam. Starfish jumps at every opportunity, hill rolls, cone tag, gymnastics, stuck in the mud, chasing each other...
And I honestly believe this is exactly what’s missing in personal training.

It’s the same concept just for an older audience.

I don’t video many of my sessions because I genuinely forget. I’m too absorbed in what we are doing. But if you train with me, just expect a bit of chaos, plenty of laughing, tormenting, and maybe even being a bit “irritating.” (Someone actually called me that once... it hurt my feelings a bit, not going to lie! 😂)

I want people to remember what it’s like to have fun while getting stronger. I want our space to be remembered as a chilled environment where we still challenge you, not just physically, but in your perspectives, attitudes, and behaviors.

There is nothing more wholesome than watching young kids out on their bikes or playing a sport, having the time of their lives with spontaneous adventure.

But then we get a job. Life hits us fast. We lose our younger self.

Time to get nerdy for a second: science has proven that while cognitive function declines as we age, one of the best ways to limit this aging effect is maintaining an attitude toward youthfulness, and practicing behaviors that supplement it.

It’s time to put the negative energy to one side and look at what we can do. Throwing a tennis ball against a wall in the garden could literally spark a new zest for life.

Because guess what? It’s not bloody boring

This is something I’m extremely proud of. What a guy!

A whopping 30kg down is simply incredible 👏

His appearance, the way he moves, and his confidence have all changed.

But what has changed the most is what he can now do.

Weekly group runs are now a normal part of his routine. The walks and hikes he and his partner go on can last for hours, and some are certainly not for the faint hearted.

Things that once felt difficult are now just part of everyday life.

That is the thing about weight loss. It is rarely just about the number on the scales.

It is about having the energy to do more.
It is about saying yes to opportunities instead of avoiding them.
It is about feeling capable, confident, and physically able to enjoy life.

Thirty kilograms is an incredible achievement, but the habits, consistency, and lifestyle changes behind it are what I am most proud of.

We have such a great laugh, and sometimes we forget what we’re here to actually do, but that’s what makes it an absolute pleasure to coach, Mark! 🤘
