F**k me
Who's idea was it to have kids ππππ€·ββοΈ (all these emojis apply!)
How many parents have done that rush to the doctor / hospital to be told yet again it's just a viral infection. Exhausted, clinging on your weak, warm little baby. You hope it's something that's treatable. We get it, they are trying to build an immunity but sometimes, you just wish there was another way.
Both our babies are ill. I've been running around from room to room taking everyone's temp and then throwing scraps at food at them, hoping they'll eat something, just anything. Hubby and I are constantly asking each other where the gun is.
(the thermometer gun, not a real one.. yet)
Trying to juggle work, or put at least some input into your job so you don't get sacked π, ill kids. It's a tough balance. Cleaning, washing yourself, looking after YOU, well it all goes out the f**king window and there's no life coach can tell you any different as when you're on the edge of life with little sleep, until you're in that moment, you'll never truly know what it's like.
There is no real point to this post, it's certainly not a sympathy post. Just that I literally talk to over 10 parents a day and at the moment, everyone is feeling the same. Like there doesn't seem to be end to it all.
To all the parents juggling life - I hear you - we really are in this together.
We might not feel like we can do this, but we are built of tough stuff.
The biggest decision to make after it's all over is do you catch up on all that missed sleep π΄ or do you head out and get drunk ππ I'd love to know what you decide to do!!
Absolutely no filter as no even anything can save me right now- big loves β€οΈ
