Entries close tonight for the 4th round of the Chorley CC x Ventum series, at UCLAN on Saturday morning.

3/4 race @ 10am
2/3/4 race @ 11am

Day entries accepted @ £20. Anyone doing the 3/4 race who decides to do the 2/3/4 on the day, can do so at £10.

Cash and card accepted.

Please see results below from the last series of the Inter Series Hill Climb. Some great times in pretty much perfect conditions, well maybe a degree or 5 cooler...

Many thanks to all the riders and the amazing volunteers who make the event and the north west inter club series possible.

It's just over a week to go until Chorley Cycling Club join forces with Merlin Cycles and Ventum, to host round 1 of this years crit series at Team Lancashire Preston Sports Arena on the 9th May.

With two afternoon races, an open 3/4 regional B at 1pm and open E/1/2/3 national B at 2pm, it's sure to be a good event.

Entires are £15 online, £20 on the day. Cash or card will be accpeted.

Last Thursday we were delighted to welcome Kerry from Derian House to the start of our first social Thursday ride of the year. We presented Kerry with a cheque for £672.47 which has been donated by our CCC members Cyclone spinning at David Lloyd Chorley every Tuesday night this winter. A huge well done to all our fantastic members in raising so much money for a great charity that provides so much for children and their families.

Interested in cycling? Why not come and join us at The Euxton Mills every Thursday at 6pm for a social 25 - 40 mile spin through the lanes? New members are entitled to 3 rides before we ask you to join.

Or if that is a little too energetic, simply keep an eye on our socials as we will be putting on more events to raise money for Derian House our charity partner this year.

Chorley CC x Ventum Bikes Crit Series 2026

Chorley Cycling Club are delighted to be back with more crits in 2026, keeping the popular Uclan Arena circuit on the schedule, with a 6 event weekend series.

Running from May to August, the aim is to give back to the North West scene and host a variety of events, giving plenty of opportunity for riders of all abilities to get involved.

Off the back of the success of the 2025 series, prizes have very kindly been secured from our local cycle retailer, Merlin Cycles. 2026 sees the company become the exclusive UK retailer for Ventum bikes, who are title sponsor for the series. Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 placings in each race.

The open 4th only and open 3/4 races will be 45 minutes including 5 laps, with the open 2/3/4, Masters 30+ and E/1/2/3 races lasting at least 1 hour, including 5 laps.

Better weather is on the way, and the race season is upon us. We can’t wait to see you all for some great racing this summer!

2025 End of Year Bash - Derian House fundraiser
I am delighted to let you know that on the night via the auction and raffle we raised an outstanding £1,295 for Derian House

Such a great effort from all involved. Many thanks to all who attended, we had a great night.
Thanks to our auction winners who dug deep and won some amazing auction prizes.
