Recent tragic events across the UK have shown just how quickly situations around water can change. Whether at the beach, lakes, rivers, or swimming pools, staying alert and prepared can save lives.

At Strawberry Fields Swimming, we believe learning to swim is more than just a life skill — it’s an essential part of staying safe around water 🍓🏊‍♂️

If you or someone else gets into difficulty in the water:
• Stay calm and try not to panic
• Float on your back to conserve energy
• Call for help immediately
• Call 999 or 112 and seek urgent help.

Please take extra care around water this summer, supervise children closely at all times, and never underestimate open water conditions.

Pre-School Swimming Lessons at Strawberry Fields 🍓🏊‍♀️💧

A fun, structured introduction to swimming where children begin developing independent water skills through games, drills, and floats, all led by fully qualified instructors in a safe, supportive environment.

We follow a clear curriculum designed to build confidence in the water while encouraging early swimming technique and independence.

As part of the Duckling Award Scheme, children are regularly assessed and their progress is tracked as they work towards their certificates 🦆
Once achieved, awards can be purchased to celebrate each milestone.

These sessions provide the perfect bridge between parent-accompanied swimming and structured lesson progression, helping young swimmers grow in confidence, skill, and independence 💧🍓🏊‍♂️

It’s one of the most common questions we’re asked and you’re definitely not alone.

Here at Strawberry Fields, our specialist instructors are highly experienced in supporting nervous swimmers. We use a gentle, encouraging approach to help children feel safe and comfortable in the water, never forcing, always supporting.

We’ve found that confidence grows naturally over time through positive, fun experiences in the pool 🌊🍓
