Chiseldon Tennis Club Chiseldon Tennis Club offers options for players looking for friendly recreational games and those looking for a more completive tennis alternative.

Members can book free court hire via our website, non-members can opt for the 'play and pay' alternative. We are based at Chiseldon Recreation Field. We have 3, brand new, outdoor courts, all of which are floodlit. We are an LTA affiliated club with TennisMark accreditation. We are a friendly and social club and welcome members of all abilities and ages. For members seeking more competitive play,

we have 5 teams (mens, ladies and mixed) in the Swindon and District League. We also hold weekly social tennis nights and coaching sessions for juniors and adults. If you are interested in joining or would like to know more then feel free to contact us or why not come along to the courts and meet us. We hope to see you soon!

Huge congratulations to Jaydan Mitchell, a junior member of our club, on a brilliant run of tournaments this season. He kicked things off with a strong showing at the J200 in Aldershot, making the last 16 and taking down a top seed along the way.

At Connaught Tennis Club in Epping Forest, Jaydan kept the momentum going with a quarter final finish after a hard fought three setter.

Most recently, Jaydan stepped up again at the G2 Men’s event in North Oxford, taking on one of the strongest men’s fields he’s faced so far. In the opening round he produced a brilliant performance — staying composed under pressure, matching the pace and physicality of an older, more experienced opponent, and taking his chances at the big moments to earn a well deserved win. His second round match was another high quality battle. Jaydan pushed hard throughout, trading long rallies and showing real maturity in how he constructed points. Although he narrowly missed out on a place in the next round, it was a performance that showed he absolutely belongs at this level. A huge step forward in his men’s competition journey.

Big Home Opener: Mixed Team Takes on Pewsey!
The Swindon league matches have started; the first home match is a mixed match on Thursday @ 6.30pm against Pewsey. Pewsey traditionally field a very strong side so it is going to be a very tough interesting match to watch. Come along if you have time and support our mixed team on their battle.

The Swindon & District Summer Tennis League starts this week.
We have entered 3 teams. The Men’s team & the Mixed team are both in Division one. The Ladies team is in Division Two.
Good luck to all the teams, it will be quite a challenge playing in the top two divisions but hopefully we will have competitive & enjoyable matches. 🎾

Winter League Wrap‑Up: A Tough Season, A Strong Team Spirit

The Swindon & District Winter Tennis League has finally drawn to a close, with our last match played on Thursday 19th March. After countless delays and postponements due to the weather, it’s fair to say this has been a challenging season for everyone. We faced some fierce battles and plenty of tight sets, but in the end our opponents proved just that little bit stronger.

A huge thank you to our Mixed A team — Tracey, Karin, Simon, Alex, Milo, Byron and Lauren — and to our Mixed B team — Dan, Rachel, Darryl, Alex, Stuart, Sara, Karen, Rob, Peter, Carol and Julie. Your commitment throughout the season has been fantastic.

Looking ahead, we’re planning to field three teams in the Swindon & District Summer League: a Men’s team in Division 1, a Ladies’ team in Division 2, and a Mixed team in Division 1. It promises to be another competitive season, with some exciting fixtures already on the horizon.

Everyone is very welcome to come along and support the teams whenever you can. Match dates and times will be shared as soon as they’re confirmed
