What a summer of tennis at Chiseldon! ☀️
The summer league has officially wrapped up. We faced some incredibly tough matches and played plenty of fantastic, hard-fought tennis—but most importantly, we had an absolute blast doing it.
While the scoreboards didn't always reflect just how close and competitive those matches were, we are incredibly proud of everyone's effort! 🙌
Now, we are gearing up and looking forward to the Winter season! ❄️ Just a quick reminder that the Swindon and District winter league format looks a little different than the summer setup:
🎾 First Rotation (Mixed Doubles): Our 4 players split into two mixed pairs to play two mixed doubles rubbers (1st pair vs 1st pair, and 2nd pair vs 2nd pair).
🎾 Second Rotation (Gender Doubles): The players regroup into a men's doubles pair and a ladies' doubles pair to play the final two rubbers.
The plan is to field two teams from our club, Chiseldon A and B. We will publish the match time tables once they have been scheduled.
