An absolutely cracking first day of the season for the Club with many teams taking home the victories but more importantly, all teams playing with smiles on their faces and enjoying being back playing the game they love.
There are far too many teams to list all individual scores, however a special mention to our newly formed girls and boys u7 teams, both playing their first games for the Club in the new 3v3 format and both having great games against their opposition.
The Ridings was super busy, hosting 15 Home matches throughout the day, with the Matchday cafรฉ buzzing from 9am right through to 4pm. Many of our home teams and away opposition position made their way back to the clubhouse for postmatch food and drinks, sharing stories of how their games went.
It is days like today that makes all the pre-season effort worthwhile.
Well done to all of our managers, coaches, and volunteers for the continued hard work, it doesnโt go unnoticed.
