Taking some inspo from my good friend and coming at ya with some self love:
POSITIVE. MENTAL. ATTITUTDE.
I woke up on this morning a complete grouch, missed breakfast, had a crazy morning and by the time i got home, all I'd eaten was a banana and the rain was pouring down. I infamously hate getting wet and it was looking more and more like my run was over before it began.
Instead of giving up, I put some tunes on, put my kit, danced whilst I got ready and headed out with the mindset of doing what I could manage.
Well, I only managed my best 5 mile time at a solid pace and had probably one of my favourite runs to date! πββοΈ
Loving and forgiving yourself goes along way in achieving our goals. any form of excercise is as much a mental battle as it is a physical.
Personal challenge to you all to get out there next time you really don't fancy it..... you may just surprise yourself!
