⚽️ EXCITING NEWS FOR ONGAR JUNIORS FC! 🔴🔵
We’re delighted to announce a formal affiliation between Ongar Juniors FC and Ongar Town FC, following the recent acquisition of Ongar Town by Morley Sports Management Group.
This is a huge step forward for football in Ongar and, most importantly, creates something we’ve been working towards for a long time — a clear pathway for our young players from grassroots football, into EJA football and ultimately into the senior game with our town’s first team.
The new owners of Ongar Town have exciting ambitions both on and off the pitch, and their commitment to developing young players, creating opportunities and strengthening the local community aligns perfectly with our own.
🏟️ We’re also pleased to confirm that Ongar Academy will become an additional home venue for matches for the forthcoming season after the club was released from its agreement at Fyfield Village Hall.
And this is where we need a little help from our brilliant community! 🙌
We now need to move our goals from Fyfield Village Hall to .ongar.academy as soon as possible. If anyone has access to a flatbed truck, or knows someone who could help transport the goals, please get in touch with the club.
There’s so much to be excited about as we head into the new season — stronger pathways, improved facilities and an even closer connection between junior and senior football in Ongar.
