Everybody grab a shoe 👟 😅

Whatever works works at the end of the day!
The aim was to help with the arm position on travels, getting the arms to be locked out and straight above the head.

If the shoe ends up too close to your head, the arms need to lock out, if it’s in front of the forehead, the arms need to pull up, the shoe is to far back you’re over extending.. you get the idea 😅🩵

A huge congratulations to all four of our Legacy skaters who competed at the Intermediate Dance Competition 🩵🤍✨

Every single skater stepped onto the floor and performed at their highest level yet. From achieving personal bests, progressing to Level 2 travels, earning bigger scores, and simply skating their programmes from beginning to end, every achievement deserves to be celebrated.

A massive thank you to our amazing parents for all their support, from costumes and preparation to travelling and cheering from the sidelines. Thank you to our coaches for their dedication, guidance and countless hours of input, and most importantly, thank you to the skaters themselves for putting themselves out there and doing something that feels inherently scary. Competing takes courage, and we’re incredibly proud of each and every one of you.

A little reminder to all skaters who compete: when you watch your performances back, don’t just focus on the scores or the things that didn’t go to plan. Look at the talent, the skills, the progress, the bravery and everything you’ve achieved. As someone who spends a lot of time editing competition videos, I can promise you there’s always far more to be proud of than you realise.

Be kind to yourself. Celebrate the positives. Learn from the challenges. Then look ahead to what’s next. 🩵✨

Good luck to all of our skaters competing this weekend 🩵🤍🛼✨

Each and every one of you has put in an incredible amount of hard work, dedication, and commitment to your programmes and dance events. We are so proud of everything you have achieved in training and the progress you have made along the way.

As you take to the floor this weekend, remember that simply stepping out there is an achievement in itself. Trust your training, believe in yourselves, and enjoy every moment.

Skate calm. Skate confident. Skate strong🩵

The sky is the limit, and we can’t wait to see you all shine.

A huge thank you to our coaching team, especially Emily, for travelling down this weekend to support our skaters. Your time, effort, and dedication mean so much to us all.

Thank you also to all of our amazing parents for getting the skaters there, supporting them every step of the way, and cheering on Team Legacy from the very beginning.
Most importantly, enjoy the experience, make wonderful memories, and have fun. We’re behind you every step of the way.

This will be their very first international competition and we are all so proud and excited to see how they get on representing Legacy Artistic RSC! ❤️🤍💙

👏⭐️Let’s hear it for our superstars! ⭐️👏

Skater of the Month: Paige 🏆
Paige has shown us incredible effort and a brilliant attitude in the first half of this year, and it’s clear in her skating with how much she’s improved. We are so excited to see what she can do with her competitions this year. Well done Paige!

Best Attitude: Jess 🏆
Jess could win this award every month, however seeing her at her first ever Tots Nationals and then again at the GBSA training day has shown us just how far a fantastic attitude can take an athlete. Congratulations Jess!

Most Improved: Joseph 🏆
Joseph has come on leaps and bounds since joining the team at the start of the year and pushes himself to be his best. His latest achievement is his fabulous cross-roll swing, a tricky move for beginner skaters. Amazing work, Joseph!

Hard work 💪🇬🇧

What an amazing day for our skater Jessica at the GBSA training day on Saturday! She had the best time learning new skills, building on her strengths, and meeting so many new people, making great friends along the way.

A huge thank you to Abbé, our incredible coach, for going with her and for all the hard work and support. And thank you to GB Skate Artistic and all the coaches for their dedication, effort, and brilliant teaching throughout the day, we’re so grateful!

A MASSIVE well done to our final trophy winners of 2025! 🏆✨

🌟 Poppy & Patsy – Best Attitude for pushing themselves out of their comfort zones for the Christmas show and trying incredibly hard every step of the way.
🌟 Ayla & Ziya – Most Improved for throwing themselves into the show, learning new choreography, new steps, and new skills in just a few short weeks.
🌟 Fe-Fe – Skater of the Month for her extraordinary achievements so far, picking up all the steps with a few short weeks of practice and showing a brilliant willingness to give everything a go.

So proud of each and every one of you 💙
