The Giddy Kipper Specialist event caterers for LARP and re-enactment events or private events. In character or out of character. Themed menus a speciality. What are the benefits?

Sporting weekends: High Carbohydrate food to keep up stamina; plenty of rice, pulses, pasta, potatoes & protein. LARP/Themed weekends: Dishes created to reflect your IC location. Experienced roleplay staff to meet your needs throughout the event. Having come from a LRP background, we understand meal times have to be flexible. As long as you keep us abreast of what is happening we will work with y

ou to ensure a smooth running of your event. This benefits you as organisers, taking away the worry that players (and crew!) will feed themselves sufficiently over the weekend. From a player perspective, you are left free to concentrate on enjoying the event, knowing we can sustain you until the wee hours. Re-enactment / living history

Tailored specifically to meet the needs of re-enactors. We can offer authentic Viking, Medieval and Pirate dishes, so not only can you have your food, you can eat it in front of the public, (without a chip in sight)

We also provide banquet meals for up to 150 people. The Giddy Kipper offers the addition of whole spit roasted pigs to compliment your weekend food requirements or your banquet.

Due to recent events upon which we have been blocked from commenting or defending ourselves, the Giddy Kipper is formally dissolved. We will no longer be trading.

To quash any rumours that may be circulating, the Giddy Kipper has NOT ceased trading. The proprietor, Rachael, has had to take time out of Empire this season for personal and health reasons, but is still catering for LARP linear events, etc.

For those who haven't yet heard, The Giddy Kipper is back at it! 2017 was a bit of a trial run and we were at Empire 3 and 4. So this year we are back under full sale with a new logo and a new crew (but the captain is still at the wheel).

We may have finally put The Giddy Kipper to permanent dry dock but those who have loved, laughed & been thoroughly well fed please utilise our local butcher who has unfailingly supplied all our meat produce - the sausages you adore, the prime chicken breast, The 6 oz hand made burgers!!! Prime diced beef... need I go on. Whilst we dock, keep a living legend & honorary pirate going. Albert butchers online Bury Market & my own hero for the last 7 yrs Micky La Ragipne. Much love xx

All set for Polocini's The B*Stard this Saturday and Circle of Hope Cancer Research bike race on Sunday. Helm is being manned by Bosun Badger as the Captain is otherwise engaged bringing the Skipper's Nipper into the world!
