Last night was the County Presentation Night held at Seend Community Centre..
The night started off with the usual killer skittles, which went down well. A lovely buffet was supplied by Rusty's. Which equally went down extremely well!
Thank you to Colin for organising the event again this year, a lot of hard work goes into this to make it run so smoothly.

Last week Wiltshire played our 1st Summer friendly of the year, venturing to Wedmoor to play Somerset. We took 5 players with us to play in their1st County match. Somerset also had 4 players making their debut. It was great to see how well they all played and good to see both teams developing their squads. Wiltshire went out fighting winning the 1st round 10 points to 2. Somerset weren't going to let us have it all our own way though winning the 2nd round 10 point to 2 making the scores equal at mid day. Wiltshire took the 3rd round and half the points in the last round making the final score 28 points to Wiltshire and 20 to Somerset.
Today we played our home match against a strong side from Hampshire. A further 3 players from Wiltshire and a few from Hampshire playing in their 1st County Match.
Some very close matches and a few big wins on both teams making the scores very interesting. Wiltshire had 13 points at mid day and Hampshire 11. Wiltshire came out strong after lunch winning 5 of of 6 games. Hampshire however were not going to go down without a fight and won 4 games in the last round. Despite this Wiltshire did enough with 2 wins to win the match. Final scores were 27 points to Wiltshire and 21 to Hampshire.

2 great wins and we look forward to the return matches next month. We'll done to everyone who took part.

Well what a weekend!
The County ran the Wiltshire Open Fours yesterday. We had 20 teams competing in the Tournament.
Today we ran the Aussie Pairs with 32 teams competing. We welcomed teams from Avon, Somerset, Hampshire, Hereford, Oxford, Dorset and even as far away as Cornwall.
Thank you all for taking part and we hope you all enjoyed the competitions.
Winners of the Fours on Saturday were Caen, who won all 4 of their matches. The runners up with 3 wins and best shot difference were Team Kernow. The best Wiltshire Cup was won by White Horse.
Today's winners were Alencon with 4 wins and best shot difference, runners up were Woolhope with 4 wins and 2nd best shot difference.
Congratulations to everyone and hope to see you all again next year

Today we held the County Mixed Fours competition at North Wilts bowls club. We had 15 teams in the Competition. Thank you to all those who took part.
Dave Slater, Lyn Woodsford, Brian Lawrence & Gill Bell beat Maureen Collett, Michael Phillips and Clive & Lindsey Phillips to win the Cup.
Paul & Carmen Thompson and Linda & Alex Gingell beat Colin Waldeck, Esther Grey, Terry Singleton & Wendy Gaisford to win the shield.
Well done all.

All went down to the last end but unfortunately we lost the match 18 points to 22. 187 shots to 197.
Well done Wiltshire for a valiant effort some great bowling on very tricky fast mats.
Congratulations to W Sussex and all the best for next week

All level at 1/2 Time.
Won 2 lost 2 in the singles & Pairs but got the bonus points so now 16 to 12 up to Wiltshire.
