The academy went global last weekend with team members and both attending the Dubai Sevens. Liv was playing for , whilst Jaz was providing S&C support to the women’s team.

The Academy becomes a teenager: thirteen years ago today we opened our doors for the first time.

The business is almost unrecognisable these days. From opening a single unit in Pewsham in 2012, we now coach and educate throughout the country with some of the best athletes in their sports, and we still have a perpetual startup energy that keeps us wanting to make our impact even bigger.

It’s always been about helping people get better. But it’s worked both ways, and there are so many great humans who have made the Southern Academy of Sport what it is today.

We had coaches, current athletes and athlete alumni representing us in our first ever touch rugby team last night. Some great skills on show, lots of fun, and found his lungs somewhere on the pitch by the third game. Looking forward to the rest of the competition! Thanks and .
