It only people would listen. I keep
Saying the clip is only as good as the coat. I’m not a miracle worker.

Clipping a dirty coat can cause all kinds of problems for both you and your horse 😡Despite the obvious of a not-so-great finish, you can also run the risk of damaging your clipper, blunting your blades and cause unnecessary discomfort and irritation to your horse.

Always make sure the coat is as clean as possible before you start clipping. If bathing isn't an option, try the hot clothing method or an extremely good groom!

Busy day clipping this “little dinosaur” as he like to be refered to 😂has just been finished no fancy hot cloth or photo shop. Even still got a bit of loose hair on the top of his back. Just like to say he’s over 18 hands and had full clip. Legs for miles 😂

Advent Appreciation Day 16

Today we giving our attentions to the lovely Louise Cordell of L C Clipping Services.

It’s safe to say that not all of our woolly mammoths are the easiest or the smallest! But this lady manages them and and turns them all from said woolly mammoths into sleek athletes.

We take our hats off to you Louise for not only being the fastest and slickest clipper we know but also for constantly enduring all the hair that we all know gets everywhere!! For those of you who have never clipped think about the very worst places hair might get!!

So thank you Louise for your ever enduring patience with both the horses and the horse hair!
