Chichester Hockey Club was founded in 1898 and has established itself as one of the premier hockey clubs in the south of England with a tradition of competitive hockey at the highest levels. The Club House is situated at Chichester college, where our main home pitch is location, with another one nearby. Chichester Hockey Club currently has an average yearly membership exceeding 300, comprising pla

ying and social members together with their families. Each Saturday between September and April the Club fields 7 mens teams, 4 ladies teams and 3 junior development teams playing league hockey and U8s, U10s & U12s teams playing tournament hockey. During the week we provide a full coaching programme from Under 8s through to the Ladies and Mens 1st XIs. The Mens 1st XI plays in the Conference West League and the Ladies 1st XI plays in the South Central Division 1. Club fixtures are played throughout Berkshire, Hampshire, Kent, East and West Sussex, Surrey and London - the higher league teams travel nationwide. The Club has a full social calendar for all ages, from fireworks & conkers to Dinner & Dance, supporting the core function of playing hockey. The result is a social melting pot of different generations of sportsmen and women who all have one thing in common: to enjoy the competitiveness and sociability of team sport.

🏑 CHICHESTER LADIES 1ST XI OPEN TRIALS 🏑

After a strong 4th place finish last season, we’re pushing for promotion and looking for players who want to be part of a winning squad for the 2026/27 season.

This is an open trials session for current members, juniors stepping into adult hockey, players from other clubs, and anyone looking for a new challenge. If you think you have what it takes to compete at this level and help drive the team forward, we’d love to see you there.

We’re also continuing to grow our women’s section across the club. Whether you’re pushing for 1st XI hockey or looking to develop through our 2s and 3s, there’s a place for dedicated players and a clear pathway to progress.

🏑 NEW LADIES DEVELOPMENT TEAM AT CHICHESTER HOCKEY CLUB 🏑

Are you looking to get back into hockey after a break, try it for the first time, or develop your skills in a fun and supportive environment?

We’re excited to launch a BRAND NEW development team for ladies & girls aged 13+ - designed to help grow confidence, improve gameplay, and create more opportunities to progress from junior hockey into adult leagues.

✨ No experience needed - just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
