Please consider coming forward, there is very little responsibility and time required.
No experience necessary but vital for the league to continue

BOGNOR, CHICHESTER & DISTRICT BADMINTON ASSOCIATION
Election of Officers
Sylvia Pyne (chair), Colin Morris (vice chair, treasurer and fixtures secretary), and Brian Simpson (secretary) were all willing to continue in their roles. There were no further nominations, and it was unanimously accepted that they would do so.
Sylvia Pyne will stand down from her role as chair after the 2025-26 season. Below is an important note from Sylvia, which covers what was discussed at the AGM:
The league committee has consisted of three members for several seasons, and we'd like to welcome new members who are currently playing league matches or at least attend a club regularly. As chairman, I've not played for several seasons and whilst I'm happy to be the figurehead for the league, I am not the best person to help the league progress. It needs someone who at least plays the sport, knows players at the clubs and matches and is therefore able to support them far more effectively than I currently can. I will continue for one more year and urge that we find new committee members ASAP and by next season at the latest. The only other option is for the league to cease to exist.
The league is well established and generally runs without any issues. Two new committee members with a chairman more invested than I am will ensure that the league can continue and potentially grow.
The next chairman has the option to undertake as much or as little responsibilities as they wish, in order to grow the league. It also ensures, should an issue/situation arise, the chairman is abreast of the people/clubs involved, thereby being able to resolve the situation effectively.
Please support your league and become a committee member.
The league committee only meets about three-to-four times a year via a zoom videoconference. Most of the work is performed by Colin and Brian, so any new committee members will have little to do except be involved in any disputes or decision m
