12 weeks between these pics. Still a long way to go but sometimes we get so deep into prep that we forget how far we have come. A moment of self reflection and positive self talk can go a long way, no point worrying about the end goal. Point is to enjoy the journey and not rush things 💪🏼🐺

These are my top 10 options that I have and use day to day. Breakfast is a very important meal of the day, the word it self means breaking a fast as you are feeding your body after a long time of not eating any food(Break-fast).

Proteins:
-Eggs
-Salmon

Fats:
-Salmon
-Coconut Oil
-Guacamole
-Almonds

Carbs:
-Oatmeal
-Berries
-Grapefruit

Detox:
-Apple Cider vinegar
-Lemon Water

These 3 supplements I will always be keeping in my daily routine:

Whey Isolate - its main purpose is to support muscle growth and help them recover after weight training. It can be taken up to 2-4 times a day but this really depends on your goal and how many times a day you train. Because excess protein will result in excess calories, resulting weight gain. I recommend having this first thing in the morning with breakfast or post workout.
•L-Glutamine - is a non essential amino acid. Meaning our body does not really needs it to survive. But it helps the body by staying anabolic (using fats and carbs as energy) rather than going in catabolic mode (using muscle as energy). I recommend having 5g of this first thing in the morning with your protein shake and 5g after training (to stop muscle breakdown and help you recover faster).
•Creatine - helps by regenerating your ATP (energy system), making you less tired and push you to do 2-3 more reps. This helps you lift the same weight for more reps, while sustaining enough energy to even push to a higher weight. I recommended having 5g after training, everyday.

“Calories are calories as long as you are under your given number you will still hit your goal”

YES that’s correct but eating clean wholesome foods will allow you to stay full for longer as more volume in food will stop any cravings from kicking in plus other nutritional benefits that comes with each type of food.

Where as junk foods are just empty calories, low in nutrition and low in volume and 2 things happen as soon as you eat them:

- You crave it more
- You are not full and unsatisfied with it

And this triggers you to probably eat more and just derail your fat loss progress.

So this is why you need a balance and enjoy this process. In my opinion about 90% should be clean wholesome food and only 10% of foods you like.
