🎭☀️ CHESTERFIELD STUDIOS SUMMER SCHOOL 2026 – NOW OPEN! ☀️🎭

An exciting week of musical theatre is coming this summer… and we can’t wait! 🌟

Students will explore acting, singing and dancing, develop acting through song, build confidence, learn new skills and work towards a performance to showcase everything they’ve learned on the Friday afternoon.

If your child loves performing this is the perfect week for them 💛

📅 27th – 31st July 2026
⏰ 10:00 – 4:00 each day

👥 Ages 5+
Students will be split into age-appropriate groups

💷 £240 for the full week
Includes Summer School t-shirt + performance

We’re bringing the energy to Chesterfield Studios and Diane Bradbury Dance with a high-energy K-Pop Workshop on Thursday 9th April, 10am–12pm!

💥 2 hours of dancing, singing & games
🌟 For ages 5 years +
🎉 And it’s open to everyone – not just members of the studios!

So whether your child already dances with us or would simply love to try something new, this is the perfect chance to jump in and experience the fun.

This weekend we have three students representing Diane Bradbury Dance at the International Dance Teachers' Association (IDTA) Theatre Dance Awards in Telford.

The Theatre Dance Awards is a national event featuring dancers from across the UK, with nominations based on high exam results in ballet, tap, theatre craft and contemporary modern jazz.

This year our students attending are:

• Isabelle Somers – nominated for Grade 5 Tap and competing in the Tap Grades
• Megan Crooks – nominated for Intermediate Theatre Craft and competing in Theatre Craft Performers
• Lilly Hayes – nominated for Intermediate Theatre Craft and competing in Theatre Craft Performers

We would like to wish them all the best for the weekend. Staff from the school will be there supporting them.

🌟✨ Exam Success at Diane Bradbury Dance! ✨🌟

A huge congratulations to all of our dancers who took their exams in January – we are absolutely thrilled to share that we maintained our 💯 100% pass rate with truly fantastic results across the board!

Your hard work, focus and dedication have truly paid off and we couldn’t be prouder of every single one of you.

A very special congratulations goes to our Senior Students (pictured), who have all achieved Distinctions in their Intermediate Theatre Craft and Intermediate Contemporary Modern Jazz examinations with the International Dance Teachers' Association.

What an incredible accomplishment and a testament to your commitment, talent and determination. You continue to set such a wonderful example for our younger dancers.

We feel so lucky to spend our weeks doing what we love, surrounded by such a supportive, kind and inspiring dance family. Thank you for your commitment, your encouragement, the lifts to class, the uniform and shoe purchases, the cheering from the audience and the smiles in the studio.

Dance is all about passion, friendship and heart – and we see that every single week in our classes.
