I try to plan my diary so that I have one day each week just for me. More often than not, that day involves heading for the hills — quite literally! ⛰️
As I’m currently training for an ultra in the Lake District, I spend my free time getting the miles in around the beautiful (and hilly!) Peak District.
But every time I’m out there, it reminds me why I love what we do at Mini Athletics. I hope that through our classes we’re helping children build confidence — confidence in their own bodies, confidence in what they can achieve, and the belief that movement is something to enjoy.
Because it’s not just about running, jumping, throwing or balancing… it’s about creating positive experiences that can inspire a lifelong love of being active. 💙
