One question I get asked so often is whether I train on holiday or not.
The answer is.. it completely depends on how I feel!
I put no pressure on myself to train whilst away, if I feel like it - I will but if I don’t want to or my body and mind just need the rest whilst away, so be it and I’ll pick up where I left off when I get back - no dramas!
This holiday I trained and got my cardio session boxed off on the bike as I’m still not able to run so I wanted to just keep on top of that, I also have digestive issues as soon as I’m away so keeping some movement in when I’m gonna be sunbathing all day helps keep somewhat normality in my day.
Now I’m back and feeling so much better physically and mentally - I’m ready to drop the hammer and get back at it properly 🤌🏼
Don’t put the pressure on yourselves to train on your holidays, if you enjoy it and want too then go for it but you’re not doing any damage by not training and you’ll only come back feeling refreshed and ready to go again from the rest - win win if you ask me 🙌🏼
