Nuanced stuff. Interesting because In many discussions about road use the most difficult are ones with drivers who believe they own the road through ‘road tax’ payment. These are most often the people who see other road users and pedestrians as ‘in my way’ or ‘holding me up on purpose’ when all they are doing is using the road quite legitimately. We all own the road, pavement & public realm.

We have become used to thinking about things from a driver’s perspective – but is that the sort of world we want?
