SATORI Shotokan, Chesterfield are very saddened to hear of the passing of Sensei John Holdsworth.
Sensei John with Sensei Julie were over the past 30+ years regular trimonthly yearly visitors to our Club in Chesterfield.
We thank you Sensei for your help and guidance over the years with our club and its members.
We are sorry for your loss Julie and our thoughts are with you and your family in this difficult time. Heaven only takes the best. Oss 💔🥋
**I thought I would look for the oldest photo I have of a young John Holdsworth at Satori Shotokan, Chesterfield. This tatty B&W photo is some 30+ years old.

SATORI Chesterfield and YAMAJI Tibshelf and Ashover.
Training & Grading Course with Sensei Billy Higgins, 8th Dan KUGB held at Queens Park Sports Centre, Chesterfield on Sunday 8th March 2026.
A refreshing and interesting training course for all members. Followed by a Grading examination, where participating members from SATORI and YAMAJI clubs passed their respective grades.
Well done every one.

SATORI Shotokan Christmas Dinner.
Members from Satori Shotokan, Chesterfield and Friends from Yamaji Shotokan, Tibshelf enjoying their yearly Festive Event at the Peacock at Barlow, Nr. Chesterfield.
A great evening of good food and chat was enjoyed by everyone.

A refreshing and interesting training course for all members and visitors from other clubs. Followed by a Grading course, where all members from Satori and Yamaji clubs passed their respective grades. Well done every one.
