🏁 Race Report – FAB-Racing Round 2 | Clay Pigeon
Another weekend of racing complete at Clay Pigeon for Round 2 of the FAB Racing Championship.
Qualifying saw me finish P18 with a best lap of 41.991, giving me alot of work to do for all 3 of the coming races 😳
🏁 Race 1 – P15
Starting from P18, I managed to get a decent start, getting squeezed towards the grass I couldn't make any places up off the start.
Throughout the race I settled in behind Callum who wasn't going to make passing him easy! Then lost a place to Bradley who went on to chase Callum, standing him up which I was happy to take full advantage of! Crossed the line in P15.
🏁 Race 2 – P19
The flag went down and Steve stalled the bike two rows ahead of me, a split second decision had me heading over the grass and rejoining 18th, struggled for pace and dropped back over the race to 19th 🫣
🏁 Race 3 – P17
For the final race of the weekend, I was focused on trying to just move forward and improve on the 15th place I got in race 2, unfortunately I just couldn't find the pace, although not massively slower than those infront, I just wasn't quick enough!
⚡ Weekend Summary
A challenging weekend at Clay Pigeon but another valuable learning experience. There were plenty of positives to take away, but also identifying areas to improve before the next round.
A huge thank you to my family, friends, sponsors and everyone supporting me throughout the season. Your support means a lot and helps make these weekends possible.
Now it's time to regroup, keep working and come back stronger for the next round. 💪🏍️
