We're delighted to announce our absolutely phenomenal Charity Officer James has been shortlisted for Committee Member of the year, and we couldn't think of anyone more deserving.

A few weeks ago we had the hard challenge of a relay 24 hour challenge representing I think it's safe to say we had a phenomenal time and was a brilliant amount of money raised

We just wanted to come forward and thank everyone that supported us with this endeavour from allowing it to take place and being our starting line.

Also a massive thank you to everyone that came and ran with us, we had a brilliant time and loved every minute. Let's have a rest before we think about doing it again tho

πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ24 Hour Run Challenge πŸƒβ€β™€οΈβ€βž‘οΈ

Starting at 9am 11th April we are taking on a 24 hour running challenge.

For this we will be raising money for

SPACE is a local charity dedicated to providing accessible play and support for children with additional needs and their families. They offer a sensory room, accessible soft play, and various activities such as messy play and arts and crafts. They run family play sessions, after school clubs and support groups for parents. Their goal is to relieve isolation experienced by families with children who have additional needs.

Any and all donations would be massively appreciated and go a long way (donation link in our bio).

We encourage and welcome runners of all abilities to come to the Small Hall and take part at any time during the challenge.

UoC has been represented at an athletics competition for the first time in 4 years and what a performance from all πŸ”₯ Sure it was 8th out of 9, but as the only uni to not CURRENTLY have an athletics programme, just opens the door to many many more

UoC Running made a quick trip over to Colwyn Bay for today's park run, a phenomenal flat route with a brilliant promenade and view.
An incredible effort from .mw saw him place overall first ON HIS BIRTHDAY
Then a lovely chilled out rest of the morning and earlier afternoon saw beach shenanigans and overall chill vibes.
