TEA DANCE at St Columba’s Church Hall Upton by Chester 4pm this Sunday 20th September is cancelled due to illness. I’ve had a nasty chest infection & am completely wiped out so taking the whole weekend off to rest.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday classes will be going ahead as normal

Monday Dance Classes Restart tonight Monday 7th September 2026

7pm-8pm Beginners Class
Waltz, social foxtrot, jive, cha cha cha & salsa
8pm-9pm Next Steppers Class - the level between beginner & intermediate.
Learning more moves & technique incl quickstep & rumba

You can stay for the 2 hours for the one fee of £10pp. The 1st hour is dedicated to the beginners & I ask everyone to stick to those moves. The 2nd hour is dedicated to the speed & level of the next steppers but all are welcome to join in.

Single dancers & couples welcome
£10 pp payable by cash on the door or via bank transfer prior to the class.

Hi Dancers,

Updated the dance website as it was so out of date!

Looking at classes & viability with increases in rent & insurance etc I’ve made the hard decision to increase some prices to keep profitable. I do think I try to give plenty of quality tuition and I hope that you agree.
New prices with effect from September:-

Monday christleton £10.00pp - price stays the same

Tuesday Upton £12.00pp - an increase to keep the class going

Friday Blacon £8.00pp - an increase to cover rent etc increases

Tea Dances £8.00pp - due to rent increases and lower numbers
