How the tables have turned! Ali Curwell turns coach this month and then on my 5th ride she adds a 0 and it’s a 50 miler.

50 miles, 100+ profanities, 1 sore arse, 3.5hrs and oodles of pride! Thoroughly enjoyed and thanks to my roadies who got me round smiling and fully fuelled! In true Pavlovian style a little beep every 30 mins led to a reward or 5 jelly babies, but hey, it worked 😂 Some say “it was only a sportive”, but I got a medal so in my mind I just did my first race! 😂

Beginners Strength training is back 7th September for 12 weeks

Whether:
👉You’re brand new to working with weights
👉Have played in the gym, but aren’t sure you’re doing it right
👉Or have had several years out and need to get back into it

This is for you!

A 12 week face-to-face coached programme including two group training sessions per week. With a maximum of 8 per session, we are able to get hands on to support your progress.

💪🏻Learn to work with weights properly
💪🏻Benefit from incorporating strength training into your life
💪🏻Master technique to prevent injuries
💪🏻Feel confident to workout

Sessions are every Tuesday and Thursday either 6.30am or 9.30am

Today’s group training made me so happy! After telling them all to zip it, they gave the best workout ever! Sometimes I forget how far many of them have come, but today reminded me - my clients are amazing! They train so well and give it everything.

Only took me 5 years to finally get on the road bike… and clip my feet in. 🚴‍♀️

Whoever invented pedals that you voluntarily attach yourself to clearly has deep faith in human capability. Clipping in is the cycling equivalent of agreeing to a trust fall with the tarmac.

Safe to say there were a few moments where I was blowing out of my arse on only a 25mile bike ride😅but the sunshine, the views and the company made up for it. 🚴‍♀️
