On Saturday 25th July, Chartridge Park Golf Club hosted its first taster morning for ladies interested in learning more about golf. Eighteen ladies joined the free, fun event organised by the Ladies’ Section Committee and the club’s golf professional, Noel Quinn.

The participants learned how to use irons on the driving range and tried a variety of skill-building games on the putting green. Everyone enjoyed the introduction to the sport, as well as the complimentary drinks and chips afterwards.

Congratulations to everyone who competed this week. It was a great turnout, and lovely weather for golf.

A huge congratulations to our 2026 Ladies Club Champion, Alison Williams, with a superb score of 174. This is the first time Alison has been Club Champion after many years of trying. Two shots behind in second place was Claire Moore.

Congratulations also to our Pednor Cup Winner, Cath, with an excellent net score of 138. Well done to everyone who took part and helped make it a great tournament.

Men's Club Championship 2026

Congratulations to everyone who competed over the weekend. It was a fantastic turnout, and we were finally treated to a few dry days.

A huge congratulations to our 2026 Club Champion, Tom Horne, with a superb score of 145.

Congratulations also to our Pednor Cup Winner, Duane James, with an excellent net score of 138.

With a great second round Mike Gallagher came in second place with Duane James in third.

Well done to everyone who took part and helped make it a great weekend.

Saturday 20th June 2026 - Single 18 Hole Medal Round

Open to all male members and visitors who hold a current WHS Handicap Index (HI.)
Prizes for top three scratch and top three handicap scores.
Overall scratch prize of the CPGC Open Cup and Winner’s name on our Honour Board
No handicap entry restriction however a Course Handicap limit of 30 will apply for the handicap competition.

Cost: £495 per player (minimum 10 players)

Duration: 1 year from the day it starts

Playing rights: Limited to one 4-ball per day except on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons when all 10 members can play. Friday, Saturday and Sundays you can only play after midday.

No access to a handicap, club competitions or the Golf Network.
