Our 16 Week Programme is back and I’m so excited to bring this to Chertsey for the first time!

Every year for the last 5 years many HITZone studios have run our highly successful “School Run to Fit Mum” Programme. (Don’t worry Dad’s can take part too!) It’s just that School Run to Fit Parent doesn’t quite have the same ring to it, does it?

Th programme runs from when the children go back to school until Christmas.

Anyone that takes part gets:

•16 weeks of our highly effective, suitable for all 25 minute HIIT sessions (led by a coach, so you get the most out of them)
• Unlimited coaching to keep you motivated and focused
• Accountability to make sure you actually stick to the programme
• To be part of our highly supportive and inspiring community
• Nutrition Guidance
• Challenges and events
• Plus lots more.

We only have 10 spaces available for this, and they go quickly!

I’ve just been doing my morning scroll on social media. I’m amazed at how many ‘motivational’ posts actually sound like a telling off.

This one for example…
‘You’re making excuses’
Well. Maybe I did make several excuses not to train this week. My main one being that I’m busy and short on time.

But when I think about it, that’s not an excuse. It’s reality. I’ve had a super busy week, a few life events and pushing on to give my HITZone members what they need to succeed.

What I don’t need is to be made to feel I’m making excuses. This makes me feel like I’ve failed. What would be more productive would be for someone to offer a solution.

So here’s the solution…are you struggling for time?

⏰ put aside some time for planning. Plans can be flexible, but will only work if they are made.

🏋🏼‍♂️ Look for some time efficient workouts (eh hem, HITZone sessions are just 25mins). With the right session, you can burn fat and build muscle in this time. Plus, you’ll feel even more positive afterwards.

💚 Don’t be so hard on yourself. If you have a work deadline, kids events or a manic week, use the time to let your body rest a bit. Go for a few short walks and breathe. You can ramp up your training next week.

🛑 Stop the negativity and look for a solution!

ARE YOU READY FOR A QUICK FIX?

Stop looking for it! There is no magic diet, protein shake or ultimate exercise that’s going to improve your health.

The reality is, take small steps and have some consistency with both your food and activity and you’ll succeed. Remember food and fitness are supposed to make you feel good, not zap the energy out of you and make you feel like you’re failing.

Balance. Consistency. Patience. Enjoy the process and enjoy the journey.
