Also, a huge Thanks to Marriott for supplying delicious food on the night.

Seniors enjoyed competing for the Captain’s Prize. Stu McLeod presented the winners with their prizes. First with a great 39 points was Kevin Isaac. Second Ian Morris with 38 points and third Tom Davies with 36 points. Both Stuart and Phil Golden achieved a two and received a sleeve of balls. The Seniors Order of Merit was also decided with Seniors President Adrian Lewis coming out on top

The Seniors played their latest friendly and came away with a creditable win away to Cardiff Golf Club (5.5 to 2.5). With the recent autumnal weather, the course was in excellent condition. The company was also great and an enjoyable day was had by all. Thanks to Dave C for stepping in as captain and leading the team to victory.

The penultimate Clubnight of the 2026 season was a windy affair but didn't stop some decent scoring.

Winning for the third week in a row, with his third consecutive 22 points was John Chatfield.

Runner up with 20 points was Stephen Davies.

Third place was Jason Edwards, winning a three way countback with 19 points. Jason also won the nearest the pin prize.

Card draw was won by Steve Lowe.

Following on from the great time that was had by all in the Summer Social event, we are pleased to announce a late Autumn social event for all members and friends.

Junior Ambassador Harry Ferns represented Wales Schools 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿vs England Schools 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 on Bank Holiday Monday at Wilmslow GC in Cheshire. He captained the boys team & led from the front winning his foursomes 7&5 & halving his singles, holing what turned out to be the winning putt 🏆

In the end, Wales Schools beat England Schools 16-8. The boys winning 8-7 & the girls winning 8-1. The first time Wales Schools have beaten England in over a decade.

On behalf of all members at St Pierre, congratulations Harry; we are all very proud of you 🏌‍♀️

Thursday evening saw the final round in the season long, Club Night 'Best of Six' competition. In what has proved to be a compelling battle, the three main contenders ultimately failed to improve their overall score. So, we ended up with joint winners: Spencer Reece and Chris Meddins. Each win a month's free membership, courtesy of Marriott. Congratulations to both, and to all that took part.

On the night, John Chatfield came out on top with an excellent score of 22 points, with the Junior prize going to Harrison Meddins, with a creditable 20 points.

There are just two more 'managed' club nights left to go, although we have ongoing tee times booked on Thusday evenings for those who like to play in the dark!

The latest Seniors friendly resulted in a 5.5 to 2.5 win away at Peterstone Lakes. Congratulations to all the players for putting on a great show. Thanks too to our hosts for looking after us all

Club Night this week was played in the coolest conditions seen for quite a while, but the scoring was anything but cool. Nine of the 31 players scored 19 points or more, and 20 points wasn't even good enough to make the top 3.
Congratulations to all the winners.

The 'Best of Six' competition is reaching it's climax with the final qualifying scores being played next week on 27/08/2026.
